KLD is a South African commercial and industrial property developer based in Kempton Park, Gauteng. We develop P-grade warehousing, logistics facilities and light-industrial parks in Gauteng's busiest trade corridors. We focus on the R21 Aerotropolis belt, the Pomona industrial node and the logistics corridors around OR Tambo International Airport.
We have been at this for more than 20 years. In that time we have developed, let and managed facilities for some of the most demanding tenants in South African logistics and industry, from global freight forwarders to specialist manufacturers. We do it the same way every time. We pick sites tenants need to be on, we develop to P-grade specification and we stay close to the tenants that occupy our parks.
In 2026 we moved from KL Development to KLD, a shorter brand name that reflects how our tenants, brokers and partners already refer to us. The legal entity, KL Development (Pty) Ltd, remains unchanged. The brand is sharper, the focus is clearer and the next 20 years start now.

Jannie is a respected South African entrepreneur and investor with more than 30 years of experience in property development, construction, manufacturing and logistics. Known for his strategic vision and industry expertise, he is passionate about driving sustainable growth, creating employment opportunities and delivering developments that generate long-term value.
Rudi Sinden
Rudi has been an integral part of KLD for over 20 years. He oversees the company's day-to-day operations and drives the development pipeline, managing key relationships with partners, brokers and tenants. Rudi plays a key role in delivering operational excellence.
Anne Mc Donald
As the leader of the company's financial operations for over 17 years, Anne is responsible for KLD's overall financial direction, ensuring financial stability, supporting sustainable growth and helping drive the company's long-term success.
Adèlle Sinden
Adèlle oversees KLD's marketing strategy, brand execution, risk management and creditor administration, with a strong eye for detail and a passion for growing the KLD brand.
Lee-Anne Mc Donald
Lee-Anne is a senior manager who works closely with the CFO to oversee KLD's financial reporting and accounting functions. Her attention to detail ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.
Logan O'Brien
Logan oversees KLD's day-to-day property maintenance and site operations, ensuring all facilities are maintained and compliant to the highest standard. His hands-on leadership and commitment to excellence help keep the company's properties operating efficiently and safely.
Stefan Kotzè
Stefan oversees the planning and coordination of development projects from concept to approval. Working closely with municipalities, consultants and project stakeholders, he manages rezoning, land use applications, regulatory compliance and project timelines to help ensure developments progress efficiently.

Liezl is an experienced finance professional specialising in debt capital and funding, with a strong track record in structuring and securing funding for property developments. As a consultant to KLD (Liezl Nieuwoudt Consulting), she brings extensive experience in lender engagement, funding negotiations and delivering tailored funding solutions.
